Environmental education
At Fowler Road School, we focus on a process which develops awareness, knowledge and understanding of the environment, positive and balanced attitudes towards it and skills to enable students to participate in assessing the state of the environment.
Environmental education (PDF 32KB) helps students to understand the interrelationship of all part of the environment. Students can gain this understanding by learning about the environment, by learning skills in investigating questions and issues in the environments, by acquiring attitudes of care and concern for the environment and by adopting behaviours and practices which protect the environment.
Excursion
Fowler Road School involves students to participate in various community activities, excursions (PDF 27KB) and sporting outings. The school bears most of the excursions, however, the parents may require to contribute if the price is above $10.
