In our classroom

At Fowler Road School, HPGE is part of everyday practice. We are committed to recognising and nurturing high potential and gifted students, ensuring every student has the opportunity to thrive at our school.

  • Sport programs, through an active link with sporting Schools, a government initiative to assist schools to increase children's participation in sport, and to connect them with community sporting opportunities.
  • STEM programs to equip students with essential skills in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
  • Mentoring for students to add breadth, engagement and challenge to student experiences.
  • Evidence-Based Mental Health Programs to support students navigating adversity or trauma.
  • Whole-school inclusion initiatives including community access, incursions, excursions and school camp.

Fowler Road School students can participate in a wide range of state-wide programs that aim to extend and enrich student potential.

  • The Premier’s Sporting Challenge (PSC) promotes whole-school participation in physical activity with leadership pathways and professional learning.
  • The NSW Premier's Reading Challenge (PRC)
    encourage a love of reading for leisure and pleasure in students, and to enable them to experience quality literature.
  • The Sports Unit offers opportunities for students with disabilities to get involved in sports at various levels throughout the school sport structure, from participation to elite.
  • The National Student Wellbeing Program provides Fowler Road School with a wellbeing officers to deliver evidence-based mental health programs.
