Our school offers a range of spaces, tools and resources to support student learning. Whether it’s for study, sport, creativity or technology, our learning environments and resources give students what they need to succeed.
Our school facilities
We offer a range of learning environments. They help students stay engaged, build confidence and enjoy every part of their school day. Our facilities may include:
- bright and comfortable classrooms
- a multi-purpose learning space including a library for reading and research
- a sports field, fixed playground equipment and shaded areas for fitness and fun
- well resourced, modern technology in all classrooms
- food preparation areas in all classrooms to support our healthy eating programs.
Resources and technology
Our school uses modern technology and digital learning tools. Our resources help students learn, create and stay connected. As a NSW public school, we have access to shared programs and tools available to all schools in the state.
Small class sizes
Due to the students' higher needs Fowler Road School has class sizes that are smaller than those in mainstream schools. Each class has 7 students.
Additional staff
Fowler Road School receives additional staffing allocation to provided higher levels of support.
Each class of 7 students has a timetabled teacher and school learning support officer. Additional support staff also work throughout the school and in the classrooms.
